Contingency plan of Repol and UBE Group companies before COVID-19
With the aim of informing our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders around the company, and as a measure of transparency and awareness of the serious emergency situation we are in, we want to inform you of the main measures we have taken to ensure the business continuity of UBE Group Companies for the Atlantic Region (UCE), Including Repol, and the minimal repercussion for its normal activity:
1. We have created a committee to ensure the Business Continuity Plan that has been in effect since January 2020, and whose objective is to ensure all UCE operations taking into account possible interruptions related to COVID-19.
2. We coordinate with our subsidiaries in Spain, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and the US, and with our HQ in Japan to align prevention measures globally.
3. We have repeatedly informed all our staff of the necessary preventive measures to try to avoid contagion.
4. We have implemented extraordinary hygiene measures in our facilities to disinfect common areas several times a day, thus preventing the spread of the virus.
5. We have distributed to all our employees the minimum hygiene tools to combat the coronavirus.
6. We have reduced meetings and visits to the bare minimum to ensure business continuity and maintain adequate attention to our customers.
7. We have designed an action protocol in case of contagion in someone related to the company.
8. We have prohibited all trips to risk areas, and we have restricted the rest of the trips to the really urgent ones to ensure business continuity and adequate attention to our clients.
9. We have informed all the personnel who visit us in our facilities of the necessary prevention measures.
10. We have provided the necessary technological means to our staff so that they are prepared for teleworking, and do not fail to pay adequate attention to our clients in case the situation worsens.
